The KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2023-2024 is a fully funded scholarship to international students, providing a stipend of $50,000 annually plus an extra travel allowance of $4,000 over two years and more if you qualify.

Dorothy Johnston Killam left a Will and donated funds during her lifetime to establish the Killam Scholarship in memory of her husband, Izaak Walton Killam. They support five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts by supporting advanced education and research.
The Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellowships from the UBC Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies are given each year to those wishing to continue their studies, and they are applicable in most disciplines. Mrs. Killam will instruct recipients of her fellowship to Be encouraged to cultivate education or to attain fame in the profession.

Requirements for KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship
These are the following requirements you must meet in order to qualify for KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowships:
Required Language: English
Eligible Countries: All World Countries
⇒ Could not have studied for a PhD at any campus of the University of British Columbia.
⇒ Must have fulfilled all requirements of their PhD within the last 24 months before their expected fellowship start date.
⇒ He or she must not be currently teaching on a tenured track at a college or university.
⇒ Applicants who hold temporary, term, or non-tenure track faculty appointments are eligible.
How to Apply for KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship?
In order to be considered for the KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, follow the steps below:
⇒ Obtain a copy of your original academic records
⇒ Refer them to your school and request that your school to does:
- Verify the accuracy of the photocopies in comparison to their records
- Stamp the copies with the official stamp of the university to attest that they are true
- Enclose photocopies attested by the registrar, under seal, into packets endorsed by the registrar
⇒ Place the sealed, endorsed envelopes into the envelope addressed to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and send them to this address “Killam Postdoctoral Researchers, 6371 Crescent Road, Vancouver BC V6T 1Z2”.
