Webster Vienna Scholarships: This scholarship grants up to 7,000 € per year to master’s degree recipients and up to 10,000 € per year to undergraduate recipients.

Scholarship Criteria for Webster Vienna Private University

In order to qualify for a Webster Vienna Private University Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Required Language: English

Eligible Countries: All world countries

1) Webster Vienna Private University Scholarships:

→  GPA must be at least 3.0

→  The minimum proficiency level for English is B2

→  Financial needs should be present

→  Essays and recommendations should be well written

→  You should be a freshman, starting at college this coming Fall

2) Borealis Social Scholarship:

To be accepted, a student must fulfill the usual requirements for an undergraduate program in accordance with Webster Vienna Private University;

→  A cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5 to 4.0 on a 4.0 scale is required;

→  Students who receive the Scholarship must enroll full-time and begin their studies in the Fall semester of 2022;

→  A scholarship student’s English proficiency must be proven: To be admitted, TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE) scores are required if the student is not a native English speaker; and

→  Students admitted under probationary status, those who must take English as a Second Language, or other English as a Foreign Language (ESL) classes are ineligible.

3) Borealis Excellence Award:

→  Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 3.8 and 4.0 (on a scale of 4.0) after completing their first academic year;

→  Extracurricular activities are an important part of the selection process; this includes competitions, events, meetings, etc.

→  To qualify as an undergraduate at Webster Vienna Private University, a student must fulfill the standard admissions requirements for the undergraduate program. and

→  Students need to be enrolled full-time. A full-time student completes a minimum of 12 credits each semester. 

How to Apply for Webster Vienna Scholarships?

To apply for Webster Vienna Private University scholarships, follow the following instructions:

(1) Ask the Admissions Office or the Scholarship Coordinator for our online scholarship application form.

(2) Before completing the online application form, you will be asked to upload the following documents:

Your acceptance letter: Confirming your acceptance to a degree program

Financial motivation letter: This is a document that the applicant has to write explaining her or his financial background, how the scholarship would help finance her/his education and why she or he deserves the scholarship.

Official documentation: This should be in English (translated if not), such as copies of the applicant’s salary slip, employer verification of income, and pension documentation of income. It is mandatory to state all amounts in Euros. If not, please convert the amounts into EURUR and indicate the rate. 

Note: There is no acceptance of bank account statements. Please submit company information and an official letter stating the monthly net earnings of your company.
